IWAY = I Will Avenge You
it's a W/R Flavor of the Month build. it only requires IWAY, Rez Sig, Charm animal. then whatever else you want to do dmg. When your pets go down slap up IWAY and you get increased attack speed and health regen(3-6). It lasts 10 seconds for each dead ally. |

I Will Avenge You skill with W/R and pets. they gain that skill when their allies or pets die and rapidly increases speed of attacks and health regen

While that is neither skillful nor clever... I suppose it could work, but not as a build on its own, maybe with some additional facets... O.o Whatever... damn these trendy builds... Mesmers will rip you all apart...

Actually mesmers are pretty useless against this as warriors don't often use skills.
It's 33% IAS I believe, and with a high health regeneration it becomes incredibly effective. Now factor in roughly 8 dead pets and you have a pretty strong build. However, it is in no way unbeatable, just relatively powerful. |

But its "in radar range" since the skills update make it slightly annoying now, IMO at least.

Actually I think All you would need is Signet of Midnight and Plague Sending if you're a Me/N and all those warriors would be useless in a manner of seconds.

You did a search? BS!
There have been like 324564364 threads on IWAY... Or ask in game at Tombs and get flamed. BTW some people prefer R/W and shooting the crap out of their opponents before they can reach them. |

You know, I did a search, and most posts simply say IWAY, they don't say what it stands for. If you are newer to the game, it would be difficult to find out what IWAY stands for.
Try being a little more tolerant and less cynical. |

ya know, I tried this a long time ago with my R/W, and I hated it. I had to wait for my pet to die, then I'd have to wait for the skill re-set to finish doing it's thing, then I'd get like 10-20 seconds of a small regen and increased attack speed, then it was all over. Big flippin deal, in my mind. I dumped it not too long after that.

It's nothing impressive, but it did a good job of catching people off guard by having a Warrior team... omg winning! |

8 pets death = 80 seconds of IWAY this negates the cooldown and you can keep it up constant

Can't you just...not kill their pets? It's not like they can hide that they're running this build. Presumably if they WANT their pets to die, they're bringing lvl 5's they just charmed, and then those pets aren't doing YOU any damage, so you can just focus on the warriors (though don't they usually bring a necro along for putrid explosion? I'd kill that dude first).

The effectiveness of IWAY is that most of them also carry tigers fury with 12 beast mastery. Now think, 8 tanks, with 8 pets at lvl20 with beast mastery 12. Iways usually attak you with bows first, to send in their pets then come mauling in with tigers fury. and i will avenge you if people die. its quite affective actually. Also... some iway builds include 2 necros, one necro for wells/putrid explosion, and another for order of vamp. Iways also carry spirits such as pred season, EoE, Frozen Soil, winnowing, etc.
This build is very dmging |
